The field of optometry changes quickly, and now many more patients are able to enjoy the flexibility of wearing contact lenses to correct their vision. Contact lens exams include tests that are not always performed in regular eye exams, so if you are considering contact lenses, be sure to let us know when you schedule your exam. This allows us to schedule the extra time required for contact lens fitting and/ or the evaluation and prescription update of your current contact lenses.
We are happy that we can offer our patients lenses that are worn daily, bi-weekly or even monthly. Lenses that offer both distance and near (multifocal contact lenses), lenses that correct your astigmatism, and even lenses that can change the appearance of the color of your eyes!
Valley Vision is happy to be able to offer specialty fit contact lenses for your more specific visual needs, be it Keratoconus, severe dry eye, high amounts of astigmatism or myopia, and other corneal diseases. This is a life-changing need for many of our patients. Dr. Zwelling is the only residency trained doctor in Corneal Disease and Specialty Fit Contact Lenses in the area to treat these issues. She is specialty trained with years of additional experience in fitting gas permeable lenses, hybrid soft/hard contacts, scleral lenses, and more!
